After a long wait and much planning taking place over the last couple of months it is almost time for my upcoming summer project to take flight.
"Del Barroco al romanticismo" (From baroque to romanticism) is the title for my upcoming summer lecture recitals.
3 recitals are scheduled at my Events page:
I am very excited for these events to come where I shall be performing pieces from representative composers from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic and even Post-Romantic eras. We will be listening to music played in chronological order (from oldest to newest) and between each switch of musical era there will be a brief description of the era and composer we will be presenting.
It is always a pleasure to visit the beautiful city of Guadalajara, one that is culturally rich, has incredible landmarks, historical sites, and of course... delicious food! This city was where I spent 2 of my college years at the University of Guadalajara's school of music which bring fond memories of classmates, teachers and musical experiences.
Very close to the city of Guadalajara we find the town of Chapala located at the north shore of the Lake Chapala the largest natural fresh water state in Mexico, a town which is a delight to visit for its local attractions, warm welcoming inhabitants and Lake Chapala pier for anyone to enjoy.
There will be more news to come nearing recital dates and publicity posted, stay tuned for more information to come soon and visit the state of Jalisco cultural events calendar at their website at: http://sc.jalisco.gob.mx/

Here is a short preview video of my recital at the University of Arizona's Fred Fox School of Music from this past June 24th:
